Elliott opens service center in China

Tianjin, China, April 27, 2015 – Elliott Group announced today that it will open a new, 5,780-square-meter turbomachinery service center on May 7, 2015, in the Technological and Economic Development Area (TEDA) of the Binhai New District, Tianjin, China. The new facility in Tianjin will repair and maintain rotating equipment for customers in the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, refining, and coal industries. The facility’s location in TEDA and proximity to the Port of Tianjin Xingang simplifies the movement of equipment and components.
The Tianjin service center is fully equipped and staffed to repair all components of centrifugal and axial compressors, steam turbines, and hot gas expanders, including diaphragms, rotors, impellers, blades, bearings, and casings. The service center utilizes advanced welding technologies including TIG, Micro-TIG, and submerged arc welding, nondestructive testing, dynamic balancing, specialty machining, and custom parts manufacturing. The facility includes a 200-square-meter dedicated rotor storage area.
The Tianjin service center is the newest addition to Elliott Group’s Global Service network.
